Project Kick-Off
In March 2022 we had our first in person meeting in Usa River, Tanzania since the project started in April 2021. It was very fruitful after working together online for a year to get together to set important project milestones, hold workshops, and develop the PhD’s proposals. Furthermore, it was great to have a first exploratory experience of how the coffee growing region around Mount Meru is like. We further could sharpen the project and its deliverables and started our site selection. In the photo you can see a coffee & banana plantation in front of Mount Meru.
Second Project Meeting
In the end of August 2022 we had our second project meeting in Copenhagen, Denmark. During this one week project meeting we held workshops covering the themes of preliminary fieldwork, data management, and qualitative analysis in NVivo. Further, we finalized the project’s site selection and participated in the DHL run in Copenhagen. In the picture you can see the team working collaboratively at Copenhagen Business School.
